The owner wanted a landing page to send paid social-media traffic to. But the existing homepage weighed 28 MB, mostly uncompressed video and images, so anyone tapping an ad on a phone would wait about 8.5 seconds. There was also no Meta Pixel or Google Analytics, so nothing could be measured.
- Tested the homepage with Lighthouse in mobile mode on 29 September 2026: 44/100, 28,242 KB transferred, main content at 8.5 s.
- Read the page code: Astra theme, Elementor, Jetpack, and one embedded video that downloads in full on every visit.
- Recommended compressing the images, lazy-loading and streaming the video behind a poster image, and caching, with the design left exactly as it is.
- Recommended installing Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel with a form-submission event before spending anything on ads.
- Quoted a fixed $150 for the speed fixes, the landing page and the tracking, with a 7-to-10-day timeline.
